An electrolytic polishing facilitates workpiece pretreatment - once through their constant efficiency at every point of the surface, the other because it is easy to use in half-and full automation. This results in advantages compared to manual or vibratory finishing polish with respect to time and effort.
It is essential especially for glossy anodizing, as the required smoothness in the nanometric range can be achieved on a chemical basis only.

During development of this additive we took care of simple and non-hazardous usage, so it can be easy and without major investments included in existing anodizing processing lines.

Our polishing additive meets the following requirements:

• developed especially for finishing of aluminium
• very productive
• not time-critical
• results in a clear, colorless bath - good observability of the polish progress
• no corrosive/toxic fumes
• A low temperature of up to 80°C - as a result no steam generation and significantly reduced energy costs
• Neede current begins at 2A/dm² at 10-20V - so you can reuse your common anodizing power supply
• Short treatment duration of 5-8 minutes (pre-polished) or 15 minutes (unpolished)
• No date of expiry for both the powdery additive and the useable bath

Please note: you need a fairly pure aluminium alloy for this kind of treatment.
